Stress Management counseling is for you if you feel like you are always bracing for the next demand, juggling too many responsibilities, or lying awake at night with your mind racing. Together, we work to understand what is draining you and build a more sustainable way of moving through your days.
We start by looking at all the layers of stress in your life-work, family, health, relationships, and the expectations you place on yourself. From there, we collaborate on a realistic plan to reduce pressure where possible and strengthen how you cope with what cannot change right away. Coping strategy development is a key part of this process, giving you specific tools you can practice between sessions.
Because stress lives in the body as well as the mind, we often include mindfulness training to help you notice early signs of overwhelm and respond with intention instead of staying on autopilot. Relaxation therapy adds concrete practices such as deep breathing, grounding, and progressive muscle relaxation so your nervous system has more opportunities to reset.
Many clients find that time, not just stress, feels out of control. Through one-on-one time management coaching, we look at how you structure your days, what truly matters to you, and how to align your schedule with those priorities. This is less about perfection and more about creating breathing room.
If you suspect you are edging toward burnout-or already there-burnout prevention therapy can help you recognize warning signs, examine beliefs that keep you overextending, and create healthier boundaries around work and caregiving. Throughout Stress Management counseling, our aim is not to teach you to "tolerate more," but to help you feel less overwhelmed, more grounded, and more in charge of how you spend your energy.
